FSAssist : Technical Details
FSAssist® is a Microsoft® Excel VBA application. All of the VBA programming code is contained in a standard Excel Workbook file and requires no additional plug-ins or software to work.
It will run in any of the following versions of Excel: XP (2002), 2003, 2007 and 2010 running on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
FSAssist will run on any reasonably modern PC - however the minimum spec that we would recommend would be a Pentium III with at least 256MB memory and at least 10GB of free hard disk space. For larger returns a higher specification machine would be advisable.
FSAssist allows the full range of Excel functionality to be maintained while it is in use.
Where an Internet connection is available, the program links to the FSAssist support web site to provide access to the official FSA instructions for completing the forms.
