FSAssist : Solvency II - Software Release Timetable
The evaluation copy of our Solvency II software is now available for trial.
Below is an outline of the release schedule for additional functionality of the software. Many of these developments are dependent on the release of updated information from EIOPA and /or the PRA, so are liable to change. We will aim to incorporate these updates into the software within a few weeks of receiving the information.
Any changes to the schedule will be noted and published here.
March 2012
Initial evaluation version of FSAssist Solvency II software available
CSV data import spec released.
April 2012
Revised evaluation version of FSAssist Solvency II released incorporating import functionality and solvency calculation tools.
July 2012
Updated QRTs released by EIOPA - following the consultation exercise last year.
August 2012.
Updated version of the FSAssist Solvenct II evaluation software released four weeks later to reflect the changes in the EIOPA templates, and also to integrate some new functionality and features requested into the software.
September 2012:
European Parliament announces delay to the vote on Omnibus II until March 2013 (subsequently pushed back further until June 2013). In all likelihood, this makes the original January 2014 launch date for Solvency II impossible.
March 2013
EIOPA released consultation guidelines to national regulators on the preparations for transitioning towards Solvency II. Revised version of evaluation software to account of the proposed changes will be issued in the summer.
June 2013
Consultation on transitional arrangements closes.
December 2014*
Reporting reference date for first Solo and Group annual transitional reports - delivery due 20 weeks (26 weeks for groups) from this date for companies identified as needing to take part in the trial.
September 2015*
Reporting reference date for first Solo and Group quarterly transitional reports - delivery due 20 weeks (26 weeks for groups) from this date for companies identified as needing to take part in the trial
January 2016*
Solvency II comes into affect for all firms.
